Meet Madison

Owner, Certified Redken Colorist & Designer + National Redken Educator

I’m Madison! I have been in the business since birth basically. My mom was a nail tech and would bring me to the salon in my bassinet. Fast forward to growing up in a salon and shampooing at 12 years old. Obviously the next stop was hair school. While in hair school at 15, I apprenticed for a Redken artist for many years before making the move to NYC. This is where the fun began. There I interned at Louis Licari on Park Avenue which led to John Allan’s – an exclusive membership only men’s salon. Designing at their Saks, TriBeCa, and Midtown locations fueled and inspired me to get back into women’s hair. I missed the creative part of hair coloring and my love for Redken. My journey led to me to Westchester, just outside NYC, which I now call home. I furthered my education by becoming a Redken artist and educator in 2017 which allowed me to travel, teaching and inspiring hairstylists new and old. All this has finally led me to my own adventure – Mad About Hair.
